The Crown's Promise -Prologue

The night spread like a black velvety texture of the darkest colour with stars spreading vastly and twinkling like diamonds which no man can reach. The most beautiful, the most calming, the most mesmerizing night sky spread on the whole world at the time when the whole world was in the land of dreams, two fates were getting bound, where two hearts were getting written by two other souls, from whom the hearts were oblivious of the sort.

The old ancient and abandoned chapel which was standing separated from the other world, which was only used at the time of fulfilling rituals and traditions.

In that chapel were standing two figures on the altar, one in a fully royal attire, one in a noble one but not so royal. Both were covered with black cloaks_one had blonde hair with striking blue eyes, and one had auburn hair with chocolate brown eyes. Both were looking sort of young in there late thirties.

Behind the man with auburn hair was standing a woman, a beautiful one, with emerald eyes and raven black hairs, which were styled as half up, the rest of them were falling down in waves, on her forehead were resting a beautiful striking diadem.

She was cradling a baby in her arms, a girl, barely three days old, carbon copy of the lady carrying her with same eyes, and hair, her small tiny fingers were wrapped around an amulet her mother was wearing, a silver crescent moon, a gift from the lady's late mother.

A child, a boy almost six with brown hair and brown eyes was standing beside the royal man.

"You know why we are here Erion". Said the royal man with blonde hairs.

"Yes your majesty". The noble man said while bowing respectfully. "But Your majesty, what if they won't agree when the time comes, what if things got complicated". The noble man murmured anxiously.

"Erion, You know the rules, a royal and a noble have to be married to secure the future of this kingdom. I also married a noble woman, she was the daughter of Lord Azriel Avenridge, and about the children, they will understand when the time comes, when duty calls, thay have to be there, no matter what". The royal said politely but his voice... there was a glimpse of sternness in it. " I...I know your majesty, but__".

"No buts Erion, you want this kingdom to be secure or not, or do you want this kingdom to go in the hands of hundreds of snakes who want nothing but power, the throne is the only chair which will give them satisfaction, I lost my wife and my brother in this bloody game of power". The king got emotional.

"I don't want to lose anyone else....You are like my brother too Erion, please my friend, no one would ever seen a king who is pleading his duke to be with him but__". He got cut of by the nobel. "I am with you my king, I will be with you in every aspect of life as always, we will do this, I am giving my daughter in your hands, I am making my y/n velmora your daughter, your responsibility". He said with trembling voice, his eyes were getting glossy.

The king placed his hand on the duke's shoulder in ensurence and said with determination in his voice. "Then it's settle, when your daughter turned twenty one then she and my son Prince Jeon Jungkook will get married, after that they will handle this big responsibility of a kingdom, Of Dravaria, and we my friend...we will rest, maybe go on vacation". The king said with a little humor in his voice.

The prince was started playing with hus wooden sword around the chapel by this time, and the baby she had long gone in a deep slumber in her mother's arms, and the mother Lady Elena Velmora wife of Lord Erion Velmora.

She was standing and listening to them both quietly, and praying for her daughter's safe future, she could not protest, it wasn't allowed for a woman to speak when two men were talking especially of higher ranks.

So, the fate was sealed between two lives, one was a girl, Lady Y/n Velmora, daughter of Lord Erion Velmora, the duke of Elora, and one was a boy, Prince Jeon Jungkook, the crown prince and the son of King Jeon Alaric, King of the kingdom of Dravaria.

Outside the chapel the night sky, the whispering of gentle wind, the distant sound of night owls, the moonlight which was illuminating the streaming river nearby, and the tall wild trees, all had witness an ocassion, where the decision of two fates had been written. The decision made for the prosperity of the kingdom.

Beneath a sleeping sky, two fates were written_not by choice, but by duty"

But, when the time comes.....will they accept it?.....
